Writing Process Components
Step 1: Pre- Writing
Step 2: Drafting
Step 3: Revising
Step 4: Editing
Step 5: Publish
These components are comprised from the Writing Process In Language Arts Content and Teaching Strategies.
- Students choose their topics
- Students engage in pre-writing activities
Step 2: Drafting
- Students put their ides on paper by writing a rough draft
Step 3: Revising
- Students look over their writing
- Students can share their writing
- Students can receive peer and teacher feedback
- Students make changes to their work
Step 4: Editing
- Students proof read their own work and make changes where necessary
- Students get other students or people to proof read their work and make changes where necessary
Step 5: Publish
- Students publish their final draft
